We are often asked which scenarios to start playing as a newcomer to the game. The following is an attempt at answering these.
The scenarios that come with the game are to the Original Database. Most are playable as is, though you will need to ensure air logistics are off. Many of the bases in these scenarios will not have ammunition loaded, so aircraft will normally run out of ammunition after one mission.
The Original Database will increasingly be geared towards being an introductory database, as explained here:-

A good introduction might be to start with the rebuilt tutorial missions and original missions. These can be played with logistics enabled and offer a different challenge as a result. They can be downloaded here:-

If you want to try new scenarios, then all are marked with a rough guide to scenario duration [ either as bullet points or an estimate of the size/scenario length].
There are several sets of related scenarios that are particularly good introductions.
