Hello scenario writers. Many of you will be familiar with the frustration of needing to rebuild all your missions for an the aircraft on an airbase if you have to go and edit the aircraft on the base. It can make the tedium of playtesting 10 times worse for a large scenario that may require a lot of rejigging of numbers and readiness to get the balance just right. Well we seem to have found a workaround (not a fix) for this issue. Most folks use the aircraft logistic funtion in H3, however it seem that if you turn aircraft logistic off then you are able to edit aircraft in the scenario editor to your hearts content without losing any mission assignments. Of course this means closing down the SE, editing the ini file then firing the SE up again. Still a bit tedious but not as bad as copying down the details of 100+ missions and then reassigning the aircraft to them. Oh and don't forget to turn a/c back on again afterwards :) Anyway I've only been playing with this for two days so far and don't know if chopping back and forth in this manner stuffs up anything else. Hopefully not.

cheers

Is there any way to print out the missions, or to print anything? FOr instance if I wanted to capture the scenario evaluation, or print the missions created, or the order of battle?

Thanks again
Scott

Afraid not Scott. It would be nice though. Best you can do is a print screen and get the image file.
