The bogies approaching from the east have been identified as hostile MiG-25 ‘Foxbat E’s and MiG-23 ‘Flogger G’s, shooting down two F-16A Fighting Falcons with medium-range AA-6 and AA-7 missiles. USS America and her battle group are engaging inbound SS-N-7 vampires with SM-2ER Blk Is, SM-2MR Blk IIs and Sea Sparrow H/Ms.
